Underground Water in the Kurobe River Delta

Ikuji’s Rotating Nakabashi Bridge

Ikuji’s Nakabashi Bridge stretches across the entrance to the Ikuji Fishing Port. The bridge is centered on one side, and as ships enter or leave the port, it rotates almost 90 degree to allow them to pass. This is a rare example of a rotating bridge in Japan.(photo4)
